Re-Igniting the Spirit of Caring Consecutive 3-day Workshop ***UD/ANII/Manager/Supervisor/CNS/Educator must enroll participants

Course Description:
This 3-day consecutive experience provides the opportunity for participants to reconnect with their reason for choosing to work in a healing profession, to reaffirm those core values and to reignite their commitment to caring and making a positive difference every day in the lives of patients, families, and colleagues.

Target Audience (maximum 35 attendees per class):

• Nursing and Ancillary staff
• Unit Practice Council members
• Nursing Unit Leadership

Contact Hours:

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 12511, for 24 contact hours.

Nurses will be awarded 20 contact hours for participation in the course.
UCLA Health is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

RSC FAQ’s

What if I work the night before?

It is not recommended to work immediately after or before RSC (ex: night shifts) as it is an important time to rest and slow down.

Are scrubs required?

Scrubs are not required. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. If you become cold or hot easily, layers are advised.

Where is the class held?

Unless otherwise advertised, RSC is held at Weyburn Village Terrace. Parking passes are available to purchase for participants who do not have Westwood employee-parking pass.

Should I bring food?

Breakfast will be available on each of the 3 days. Lunch will be catered on the second day. Because we cannot provide individual meals, please plan accordingly if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

Is there a shuttle between Santa Monica and Westwood Campus ?

Yes. Please call the UCLA Staff Shuttle Phone # 310-267-9484. They are available 24/7 to give you shuttle times.
